Bob Hines has been selected by NASA to join the 2017 Astronaut Candidate Class. He will report for duty in August 2017. The Pennsylvania native earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University. He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Flight Test Engineering. He continued on to earn a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama.
