Jessica Watkins has been selected by NASA to join the 2017 Astronaut Candidate Class. She will report for duty in August 2017. The Colorado native earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geological and Environmental Sciences at Stanford University, and a Doctorate in Geology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
