Celebrate this historic first mission. The first crewed mission from U.S. soil since the final flight of the space shuttle program with Space Shuttle Atlantis back in July 2011.
SpaceX Demo-2 (SpaceX Demonstration Mission 2) was set for a May 27th launch due to bad weather the flight has been rescheduled to 30 May 2020. Astronaut Douglas 'Doug' Hurley will be spacecraft commander on Crew Dragon Demo-2, joined by Robert (Bob) Behnken as joint operations commander. Crew Dragon Demo-2 will also be the first two-person orbital spaceflight launched from the United States since STS-4 in 1982.
